Another successful residential trip has ended, and what a wonderful time the children had! Miss Uney and Mr Marshall took 22 of the Year 5/6 children to Robinwood at Dobroyd Castle to take part in a wide range of exciting activities including archery, canoeing and raft building, as well as a range of team building activities. The children were split into two groups – Spring and Waterfall – in order to work their way around activities during our time there, and they made us all proud with the way that they represented the school.
The children also had a lot of other challenges to overcome during the visit – such as making their own beds and getting their own kit bags prepared for the activities ahead – but all children managed to overcome these daunting tasks!
Both Miss Uney and Mr Marshall passed on the following message to the children on our social media platforms:
Well done to a fantastic group of children who have shown great courage and made us incredibly proud over the past 3 days. Thank you for being so much fun, keeping us entertained and representing our school so wonderfully! From Miss Uney and Mr Marshall #robinwood #teamwaterfall#teamspring #year56
We will be making a disc available that has over 700 photos of the children from the residential visit. More information on this coming soon.
