Congratulations to our newly appointed house captains and vice captains. The whole school were involved in the voting process, gathering together in house groups rather than class groups, with the lead member of staff for each house.
Then, the children who were hoping to be voted as the house captain gave a prepared speech to the other members of their school house, outlining what would make them a good house captain. The children then held a vote – learning about our British democratic voting system along the way – to choose who they wanted to be their house captain.
Vice captains were decided through a follow up vote involving staff before they were unveiled during our celebration assembly. Well done to all of those who were voted in as a captain or vice captain – we are sure you will be excellent house representatives!
