Rudolph Run raising money for Dove House Hospice

Dove House Hospice was the focus of our charitable work this December. The ‘Rudolph Run’ was a great opportunity to offer our local village community a sprinkling of our focus Christian Value of ‘Joy’. The older children were wonderful as they looked after the younger pupils and held their hands as the whole school walked around the village wearing red noses, antlers and big smiles.

The walk of approximately 1.5 miles showed our school community at it’s best as the children demonstrated our core values of ‘friendship’, ‘compassion’, ‘trust’ and ‘respect’. With Mr Symington in his santa suit and the children waving and singing their way around the village we saw lots of smiles and waves and we hope that we helped the local community get into the Christmas spirit.

PC Bainton was even able to join us for the walk and this enabled us to cross the roads very safely. Thank you PC Bainton!

Staff and children all thoroughly enjoyed the walk and most importantly we raised money for Dove House, an important local charity that has personal meaning to so many of our families.
