Through our Christian Values Friendship, Compassion and Trust we "encourage, build and hope together... no-one left behind"
– based on 1 Thessalonians 5-11
At our school, we aim to develop each child fully – socially, physically, intellectually, morally and spiritually by:
fostering a caring, inclusive community by having our core Christian values – Friendship, Compassion and Trust – running through the heart of our school;
keeping with our status as a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School, which encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, which recognises and respects the beliefs and religions of others;
encouraging enquiring minds, encourage self-expression and a develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment;
working together with children parents, staff, governors, trustees and the community as a team in an inclusive happy, caring, secure and stimulating environment;
developing an awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle;
promoting a desire to learn, nurturing potential and achievement, in all areas of the curriculum;
helping and assisting our pupils through their weaknesses and fears;
building the foundations of co-operation, care, enthusiasm, perseverance leading towards a respectable and fulfilled future.
